LabLieb began during our PhD years in Germany, surrounded by laboratories, libraries, and lecture halls.
While spending countless hours studying and researching, we noticed something missing: most academic tools felt functional, but rarely inspiring. Stationery, notebooks, and study accessories were designed to be practical — yet often lacked warmth, creativity, or personality.
So we asked ourselves a simple question:
Why can’t scientific life feel a little more playful?
The name LabLieb combines two ideas:
Lab — curiosity and discovery
Lieb(e) — the German word for love
Together, LabLieb reflects our belief that science can be both rational and full of warmth.
That idea continues to inspire everything we create today.
